Wintech Nano Headquarters Building Topping-Out Ceremony
On the morning of May 7, 2023, the topping out ceremony of the Wintech Nano (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. headquarters building was held, marking a new milestone in the development of the Wintech Semiconductor Analysis and Testing Platform in Suzhou.
The event was attended by government officials including Ni Qian, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park; Xu Wenqing, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation District; Zhou Yucai, Director of the Office for Learning from Singapore’s Experience in Suzhou Industrial Park; Xiao Shitao, Director of Suzhou Industrial Park Science and Technology Investment Promotion Center; Zhang Shumei, Chairman of Suzhou Nano Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. In addition, academic and industry experts such as Professor Yeo Kiat Seng, Vice President of the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD); Li Wenhui, Chairman of Suzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; and Xu Dongmei, Secretary-General of the Semiconductor Testing and Packaging Branch of China Semiconductor Industry Association, were also present.
Representatives from various participating construction units of the Wintech Nano headquarters, Wintech Nano shareholders, financial institutions, equipment suppliers, and other cooperation partners, totaling nearly 300 people, took part in the event.
Mr. Li Xiaomin, Chairman and General Manager of Wintech Nano (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., delivered a speech. He expressed that the successful topping out of the Wintech Nano headquarters building is a significant milestone event for the construction of the Wintech Semiconductor Analysis and Testing Platform in Suzhou, which has been achieved through the concerted efforts of multiple parties. From site selection and project initiation to construction, the project has consistently received the warm care and strong support of the Party Working Committee and the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park. Since the start of the project, various units responsible for project management, design, supervision, and construction have fulfilled their respective roles and responsibilities, implemented scientific management, and strictly adhered to requirements, thus ensuring the orderly progress of the construction. At this moment, sincere gratitude is extended to the leaders at all levels who have provided strong support for the project construction and to all the staff who have made arduous efforts in the construction.
Subsequently, Mr. Zou Jiangang, Chairman of Zhongyifeng Construction Group Co., Ltd., and Mr. Ni Qian, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park, delivered speeches successively, jointly congratulating the successful topping out of the Wintech Nano headquarters building and ushering it into a new stage of development.
During the event, Wintech Nano renewed its collaboration with top instrument and equipment manufacturers, including Thermo Fisher Scientific (China) Co., Ltd., Hitachi High-Tech Science Corporation (Beijing) Limited, Espec Environmental Instruments (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Carl Zeiss (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd., Hamamatsu Photonics Trading (China) Co., Ltd., Beijing AFIT Technology Co., Ltd., Gaudiem Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Oxford Instruments Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. They jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement titled “Collaborative Construction of Wintech Nano Headquarters Laboratory.”
In the future, Wintech Nano will further strengthen communication and collaboration with its partners in business and research and development. By joining forces, they aim to collectively promote the thriving development of the global semiconductor industry.
The Wintech Nano Headquarters Building project is located within the Listed Enterprise Industrial Park of Suzhou Industrial Park’s Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation District. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in January 2022. With the concerted efforts of all parties involved, the project has been steadily progressing with the aim of achieving comprehensive completion by the end of 2023.
Taking advantage of the construction of the new building, Wintech Nano will seize the opportunity to introduce world-class analytical equipment and gather high-tech talent resources. It will promote collaborative research and development among semiconductor enterprises, actively foster innovation, and provide more comprehensive analysis and testing services to the global semiconductor industry value chain. This will inject abundant technological vitality into the high-quality development of Suzhou’s semiconductor industry ecosystem.
